Fix rate set to increase by Min 7 to 20 basis points

Fix rate is on the rise, with the increase in international markets cash rate and bonds

Traditionally fix rate is connected to the international bond market, with an increase in the bond rate over the last 1 week we expect the rate rate to come under some presure and rates to increase over the next 1-2 weeks. Rates will move around 0.07% -0.20%

Today westpac was the first bank to announced an increase on it's fixed rate- Increasing most by around +0.10% to +0.17% ( for owners and investors)

Big 4 banks will be the hardest hit due to their overseas exposure.
